Thank you for following up with me. I did receive my products, and I
must say, I am very impressed. I don't know what you put in this
cleaner, but man it sure does a great job. Makes my watches look factory
fresh. I also like the fact it has a great smell and is a "green"
cleaning product. The microfiber clothes are pretty amazing as well.
Some of the best I've seen and absolutely perfect for babying my
timepieces. Problem is, now I'm cleaning my watches every couple days
tops. I'm spoiled now and want to keep them looking fresh all the time.
lol
I truly appreciate the great customer service and product, and I
definitely plan to stay a customer. I will also be doing a
review/write-up about your product(s) to all my fellow watch nerds, and
I'm sure a bunch more will be buying. I am very happy and impressed with
you, your company, and product.

Today I received the Veraet watch care kit plus your gift. Your watch
product surely does what it says and I will advertise it to more greek
watch enthusiasts.

I wanted to say thanks to you for inventing Veraet. In the last few days I've been trying to get rid of all the smear of fingerprints and oil on my iMac computer screen. I tried water alone, it didn't work and I also tried a little bid of dish soap although I was concerned about the chemicals found in soap. It was a disaster, it made the situation worse. So, out of desperation I tried Veraet, and man I'm glad I did. My screen looks as clean as crystal. I'm so happy about this that I decided to share this info with others so, I placed a post on macrumors.com and TKF. I hope this info can benefit your company. A BIG THANKS!

Decided to give this stuff a try and that was one of the better choices I have made over the years for watch care! Much better than soap because it leaves no residue and you can actually see the difference this makes over soap. Not to mention the product has a very nice smell to it. Going to be a customer for life, cheers.

I recently received the gen 2 of Veraet Watch Spray and must say I am very impressed with it! Just give your watch some quick sprays, let it sits for a couple of seconds and then wash it clean in lukewarm water! My Rolex looked brand new after this! I can highly recommend this watch spray! Kind regards, Bo

I must say I am very impressed with the efficiency and ease of use of Veraet's Watch Spray. Normally I use mild soap and water (and get good results), but Veraet's product leaves a significantly better luster and a pleasant fragrance as well. I plan to us these products exclusively in the future!

The micro-brush is a must have for any watch enthusiast. It is fine enough to fit in the smallest of crevices, yet soft enough to not scratch the surface areas....I use it almost everyday on my collection.
Oct 10, 2010 Chad from Philadelphia, PA
This spray really is a great product, with more use than just watches. I used it a lot more than I thought I would.
Oct 5, 2010 Vincent Yao from Toronto, Canada
Works like wonder, just spray on and rinse off, leaves my Rolex Submariner sparkling clean. The softest microfiber cloth you can find on the market.

When I learned of this product line, my first thought was "why hadn't someone thought of this sooner?" I just received my Premium Care Kit and Microbrush. Excellent customer service...immediate shipping with frequent email updates. My watches weren't particularly dirty, but The Watch Spray cleaned them thoroughly and left them sparkling...far nicer than plain water and no worries about using something harsh that was not designed for this purpose. The supplied cloths are of very nice quality and dried my watches thoroughly. Recommended without qualification.

The Microsilk HD Cloth is very fine and smooth, to the touch. Even though is not impregnated with polishing chemicals, it just leaves your watch shiny, as it effectively wipes away any smudges and dirt. Does not leave any swirls or fine scratches. Fully recommend it, to keep our fine time pieces in pristine condition.

International Watch Magazine in Dec. of 2009, pages 184-185:
"CLEANING UP - One new U.S. based firm offers watch cleaning cloths and sprays that feature non-toxic ingredients"
By Rachael Palacious
With all the fine watches and pieces of jewelry accessorizing the world, you would think there would be numerous safe cleaning products for them, right?
Wrong. The market is filled with products containing ammonia, harsh surfactants and other abrasive solutions, any of which can potentially clean the surfaces and finishes right off your beloved treasures. Haute horlogerie and jewelry deserve a little better care.
One new brand claims it can spray away your cleaning concerns. Veraet is a Pennsylvania-based company dedicated to watch and jewelry care, providing products that it says are safe and environmentally friendly. Its biodegradable and non-toxic products undergo close examination for their effects on the environment.
According to owner and founder Don Rothrauff, his Veraet Watch Spray is a watch cleaner that will gently clean your watch without damaging its finish. Made of a water-based formula, the solution will clean metals and crystals without leaving a residue of any kind. (Note that this spray is only made for water resistant watches).
The Jewelry Spray is another benign product that is a plant-based formula containing eucalyptus. It is intended for all jewelry and precious stones except opals and pearls.
What you use with these sprays is equally important. That's why his firm's Veraet Microsuede cloths contain no polish, rouge or other abrasives. They are specifically designed without stitching and the cloths' edges are sealed with an ultra-sonic machine. For a gentler touch, the Veraet Microsilk is even more delicate and comes in an easy-to-handle 8 inch by 12 inch size. These cloths are washable and re-usable and come individually packaged.
When your watch and jewelry have turned in for the night, Rothrauffs suggest you rest them on the Veraet Valet Pad, a micro-fiber suede pad that is a better alternative to the hard surface of a desk or counter. His company sells online and at stores in the United States, Canada, and Europe and is a member of The National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors. Veraet stands by its products with a thirty-day money back guarantee.

I am always looking for the best method for cleaning my watches. Keeping the bracelet clean is important as it helps keep the bracelet from wearing and stretching. I saw an ad for Veraet Watch Spray in International Watch, and after seeing a discount for TimeKeeper Forum members, I decided to take a chance. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the watch spray worked well, was safe (unlike Scrubbing Bubbles) that I used before. The watch spray does not smell, has a soapy texture to it that rinses off well, yet cleans the watch similar to when I put my Rolex band into an ultrasonic.
If used weekly, one bottle of Watch Spray should last at 4-6 months.
Veraet's President, Don Rothrauff, explained that the watch spray is safe because it is water-based, contains no abrasives, no glycerin (the gunk that causes film buildup), no ammonia or acid that causes rubber seals to deterioriate. Veraet also produces a series of cloths that are either sold separately, or bundled with the Watch Spray product. Veraet's microsuede cloths are used for wiping down the watch after cleaning with Watch Spray, microsilk cloths for cleaning gunk off without Watch Spray, and a larger and thicker microsilk cloth used for cleaning gold. Don explained that collectors prefer having cleaning cloths of different types and thicknesses.
Before using the Veraet cloths, I used a Googalie cloth that worked well, but does not soak up water like the blue suede cloth does. The blue suede cloth is perhaps my favorite cleaning cloth. The black microsilk cloth I keep around to wipe down my watches after daily use.
This is the Veraet cloth collection along with a display pad. The pad is good to have for leaving your watch at night.

When you collect watches, or even have just one "beloved" watch that you own, there are a few key things you need to know about. These include where to get your watch serviced, where to buy new bracelet/straps, and how to clean your watch. Watch brands make it really easy for you to know about new watches to buy, but leave out information about these other things, and most watch retailers aren't much help to be honest.
So today I am gonna discuss cleaning your watches. Specifically, with items from a newer company called Veraet. Perhaps watch tidiness is not as important as a watch that is working - but nevertheless you'll want to know about products that help you keep your timepieces clean. While there is nothing magical or ultra-unique about Veraet products, they do a good job of taking the worry out of cleaning watches, and presenting products specifically made for the purpose in nice easy to get kits. For example, their watch cleaning solution spray and brush are specially formulated not to harm your watch, no matter if it is steel, gold, or otherwise. If you use just some other random cleaner or brush, you run the risk of scratching your watches, etc...
There are a number of products available from Veraet. Most popular is their "Watch Spray." The spray is a mild cleaner made to remove dirt, oil, and other debris from all parts of a watch, including the case, crystal, and strap. If you happen to be cleaning a watch that isn't water resistant, you can simply spray a bit on a cloth, and wipe the watch where it is dirty. I tested the spray on an older, dirty watch with some caked in dirty between the lugs and bracelet links. The Watch Spray worked pretty wall, and in combo with the Veraet Microbrush, was able to clean the watch in a snap. The Microbrush costs $12.95, while the Watch Spray comes in various sizes and quantities starting at about $10.95 for a single bottle. A little goes a long way actually.
Veraet offers inexpensive (about $3) 1 oz. sizes of their Watch Spray for people to sample. I recommend you try some if you have some dirty timepieces. Aside from the brush and the spray, Veraet carries cleaning cloths. The two they currently have are a Microsilk cloth, and a Microsuede cloth. They both cost the same, and the difference really depends on what you like better. The micro suede cloth is probably better for dry cleanings, and the microsilk cloth probably better if you are using the spray. Both cloths are soft, and represent Veraet searching through the vast world of possible cleaning cloths out there for something that works well for timepieces. A pack of cloths will cost you $7.95.
Another interesting item is the Veraet valet Watch Pad. What is it? Just a soft pad for you to put down watches. Silly? Actually not. I find myself gently placing watches does on tables and dressers all the time. Being ultra careful not to scratch them. Having a soft scratch-less surface can come in really handy. Especially for desk workers who like to take their watches off to type - having a Watch Pad on your desk can be quite useful. These go for $6.95.
While I haven't tested all watch cleaning products out there, I can say that Veraet products work as advertised, and the company has really fine customer service. You can buy all their products online via their website. Sure you don't absolutely need their items to clean your watches, connoisseurs looking for dedicated products and people worried about the safety of their timepieces can easily rely on a company like Veraet for most of their watch cleaning needs.
